Teen Filmmakers Program

 A two-week program for teens to enter the world of film by writing, directing, shooting and editing their own productions.

STP-A: June 22 - July 3, 2009;
STP-B: July 27 – Aug. 7, 2009;
Monday through Friday 9am-2pm
Age appropriate groups from 13-18

Instructor: Eric Rogers
Tuition: $495

  The Summer Teen Program concentrates on developing skills in film and video production. This intensive two week program culminates with students completing a final project on video. Students will also have the unique opportunity to shoot on film while learning about the special qualities of film and the actual differences between film and video.

  CFI's teen program provides a practical foundation for filmmaking skills–lighting, camera, composition, and editing. Students take full responsibility for their projects as they write the scripts, prepare storyboards, and finally shoot the project. At the end of the session, each student will take home a DVD copy of the final projects completed during the class. The tuition includes use of film and video equipment, textbook, film, and processing.
